Product identification: Ann Demeulemeester Men’s Spring/Summer 2011 runway black canvas fencing jacket, size 40 / S, in 100% cotton with an asymmetrical horn-button closure.
One of the defining pieces from Ann Demeulemeester’s Men’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which drew directly on fencing body armour. The jacket translates that reference into a structured, asymmetrical garment.
Constructed from heavy black canvas in 100% cotton. It closes asymmetrically along the right side via a vertical horn-button placket. Three additional buttons sit at the right shoulder beside the knitted stand collar. The front has an asymmetric welt pocket; the back has an asymmetric appliqué panel and a small D-ring. The rayon lining is intact apart from an open lining seam at the right armhole, which can be repaired easily by a tailor.
Condition: Worn. No damage to the outer shell, all buttons intact, lining seam at right armhole open.
